Mean Green Toughness You Can Trust
65
As a new housewife, one of the things that frustrate the hell out of me is that I was trying to make our bathtub spotless and I could not. We have this plastic thing attached to our bathroom floor and it's messy as hell whenever my husband lies in it to take his bath even for ten minutes or so.
The grease and dirt practically plaster themselves on the walls of the tub. I tried everything: disinfectant, dirt remover, detergent, fabric softener, bleach, dishwashing liquid but to no avail. The grease and dirt just refuse to make themselves go away.
That is, until, in my frustration, I blasted the tub away with this cleaning liquid sitting under my bathroom sink for months. As a last resort, the sucker really works. I literally witnessed the ugly stains liquify and melt away as soon as the degreaser touches each spot.
The name of the product? Mean Green. According to its uses and suggestions, the liquid is supposed to be diluted with at least 4 parts water. But I've been using it in its pure liquid form this last couple of months, even sponging the accumulated dirt and grease off my walls in my excitement.
And the stuff really works. It's one of those little known things that turn out to be a real help especially to newly married wives just getting used to running their own household. Even my husband has noticed how clean our tub is now and bought me another gallon from Family Dollar as soon as I told him I was running out of the stuff.
A simple suggestion: use latex gloves while using the stuff. It's pretty hard on the hands and skin.
